Etendeka Walking Trail

Hike through dry Mopani shaded riverbeds and past other-worldly rocky outcrops as our guides identify spoor, indigenous animal, bird and plant species. Exploring this terrain on foot is a heightened and invigorating meeting of man and nature.

A must do!

This is a slack pack hike through amazing, rough and rugged Namibian landscapes… Absolutely stunning experience!! Our guide gave us tons of interesting information about the area’s fauna and flora. The Etendeka staff is wonderful and spoiled us beyond words! Food was delicious and plenty! The sleeping & bathroom structures are solid and beautifully set.

I would definitely go back!

This should definitely be on your bucket list while visiting Namibia. We loved the stunning sceneries and the professional team. The walk is not that difficult, I wished to walk a little bit more. Overall an unforgetable experience.

Stunning!

We did the two night mountain walking trail. My only regret is not doing the three night walk. This was absolutely unforgettable. After a few hours walking, the first night was spent river side; the second day’s hike up to the mountain tents to the most magical overnight experience of our lives.
