The Ai Aiba Experience
Ai Aiba Lodge is situated in the heart of the Erongo Mountains of central Namibia, approximately three hours from Swakopmund and within easy reach of Damaraland, Etosha National Park, and Windhoek. Nestled amongst striking granite boulder formations, the lodge forms part of the 180,000-hectare Erongo Mountain Nature Sanctuary, one of Namibia’s most scenic and ecologically diverse landscapes. Ai Aiba is also a founding member of the Erongo Mountain Nature Sanctuary, contributing to the conservation of one of Namibia’s most important mountain ecosystems.
Ai Aiba is best known for its exceptional collection of San rock art, with more than 200 documented rock art sites located within the private concession. Combined with spectacular mountain scenery, excellent hiking opportunities, guided e-bike excursions and rich birdlife, the lodge offers a unique combination of nature, culture and outdoor adventure.
The relaxed atmosphere, family-friendly activities and wide range of guided and self-guided experiences make Ai Aiba an ideal stop between Windhoek, Damaraland and Etosha National Park. Ai Aiba Lodge forms part of the Naturally Namibia collection.
Towering boulders form the backdrop to the mountain facing chalets with views that incorporate the rugged landscape. 10 African inspired private chalets made up of 20 rooms provide comfortable accommodation that optimises the unique setting.
Amenities
Each air-conditioned room has a small lounge with a tea and coffee station and an electronic safe for valuables. The big bathrooms comprise of a walk-in shower and separate toilet. A small shaded verandah with a table and chairs provide the perfect spot to relax, listen to the bird calls and be at one with nature.

Trekking on foot through this incredible wilderness of rare adapted fauna and flora framed by precariously balanced boulders is a reminder of the ancient relationship between man and nature.
