Guests arriving this season will immediately notice the thoughtful upgrades across the lodge. A major refurbishment of the guest rooms has brought a contemporary yet earthy feel to the interiors. Bathrooms have been completely upgraded with new tiles, vanities, mirrors and fittings, creating a fresh, modern look while still blending beautifully with the natural surroundings. Throughout the rooms, updated flooring adds warmth and comfort, giving the spaces a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Around the pool area, the experience has also been enhanced. New, funky and stylish loungers and expanded shaded areas now offer more comfortable places to unwind after a day of exploration. Large pergola-style structures provide welcome shade while still allowing guests to enjoy the expansive views across the Erongo landscape.

But perhaps the most exciting developments at Ai-Aiba lie beyond the lodge itself. The team has placed strong focus on getting guests out into the landscape in more active and immersive ways. Ten specialized e-bikes are available, supported by newly created cycling trails that wind through spectacular terrain. With approximately 30 kilometres of purpose-built single-track, these guided rides offer a fun and accessible way to explore the area, often accompanied by sightings of zebra and other plains game along the way.
The popular walk-and-drive rock art experience remains a highlight, combining vehicle access with guided walks to some of the region’s most remarkable rock art sites.
With renovations complete and activities expanding, Ai-Aiba is entering the new season with fresh energy – ready to welcome guests to a place where comfort, adventure and culture meet in perfect balance.
